Day 1: He has one sleep a day which is around lunch time. He helped me change his cot into a toddler bed. He didn't understand what he was doing, he just like playing with screw drivers. It took about 40 minutes to get him to sleep. There was laughter and there was tears. He thought it was very funny and wouldn't leave his room, he just kept getting up and standing at the door. I would tell him to lay back down and he would. I started to get very stern with him and he got upset. I stuck it out and next thing I knew he was asleep.
That night we didn't stay at home so we ended up sleeping in a cot just because it was easier.
Day 2: His daytime sleep was also not at home so that was in a cot as well. But night time was great. It took about 20 minutes and he went straight to sleep.
Day 3: This day time sleep was the hardest. He never left his room and was so quiet and I would go check on him and he was just playing with his toys. So that's where I went wrong. I was walking away. What I ended up doing was sitting at his door where he couldn't see me and every time he got up i would tell him to lay back down. This took an hour and a half. Very annoying.
His night time sleep was amazing. I put him to bed. He came out once. I took him back and he laid down. Talked to himself for awhile, then went to sleep.

Day 4: He is at daycare at the moment but I go an update from his daycarer and it only took her 10 minutes and he went to sleep.
Hopefully tonight is another great night. I'm a very proud mum. He sleeps though so he hasn't gotten out of the bed during the night and he wakes up around 7.30-8ish and wonders into my room.
There is a bar that goes across so he doesn't roll out but the screws it came with didn't fit so my husband will have to fix it but so far he hasn't rolled out haha.
Also there was so many socks behind his bed when I pulled it out to change it. I wondered where they all went haha.
