I've been wanting to colour my blonde hair soft pink now... only for about 2-3 weeks haha but when I was grocery shopping I first seen these hair masks on special and if you purchased these two products, it was $10!So... what the hell lets give it a go. I dilute the dye with conditioner to make it a soft pastel colour and the pastel colours wash out very quickly, so there is no harm in trying.
I had a cheap conditioner that I used it it. The conditioner had a slight green colour to it. I'm sure it wont make a difference.
I made a first patch and it was not enough for my heap of hair. I ended up make so much more after these photos. I applied it to dry hair.
I washed the conditioner mixture out but did not shampoo it, my hair was already clean.
This photo does not show the colour up at all but its as good as I could get. I got the soft pink that I wanted. Yay! I still need a hair cut but at least I have a new colour for a bit!
I will be doing it again.
