Bellabox July 2015 - Beauty Wander

Today I got my July Bellabox. It's a really good one this month.

First thing I got was a Modelco Shadow Stick. I got the colour Portofino 03. It is a cream stick product. Its very small but I don't think I will need to to be any bigger. Its a nice colour with good pigmentation.
"This newly launched eyeshadow stick by ModelCo, delivers a sheer wash of lightweight, creamy colour with a touch of shimmer that glides on the adheres to the eyelid perfectly. the compact design allows for yet set glamour on-the-go. and easier application. 4 piece gift set RRP $39.00 Available at www.modelcocosmetics.com" I think the description is spot on. I think I'm going to like it

Next I got the Nuxe rose petals Cleansing Milk. It is very cute packaging and smells clean and moisturising.
"this gorgeous cleaning milk formulated with Rose petals works to eliminate impurities and make-up from the face, eyes and lips. Its rich, smooth texture cleanses and removes make-up while protecting the sin from dryness with a non-oily finish. 200ml RRP $26.99 Available at Priceline." This sounds great to me. It's winter in Australia at the moment and my face is getting very dry :(

I got a Essenzza Fuss Free naturals facial treatment mask - antiaging and antioxidant. I'm not a big fan of these types of face mask but the packaging is so cute, that it's making me want to give it a go.
"Containing Moroccan Argan Oil, which is rich in essential fats and vitamin E, in addition to Vitamin C, this mask is loaded with antioxidants and will leave your skin looking visibly brighter. RRR $4.95 Available at Kmart"
I got a Palmolive body polish shower gel. I have used these before and they are really nice. But this one smells AMAZING!!!
"This delicious exfoliating body was, available in tantalizing fruit scents of acai berry, passion fruit & strawberry, promises to renew and revitalise the skin. Throw into your travel bag for fresh and invigorated skin wherever your adventures take you! 400ml RRP $6.79 Available at Woolworths, Coles and IGA"

Sadly I was so happy to get the Neautrogena make-up remover cleansing towelettes. I have used these before and I feel like I'm constantly running out of make-up removal wipes. These are a nice gentle, refreshing wipes. Great for the price.
"These gentle cleansing wipes remove the most stubborn makeup, even waterproof mascara! A perfect travel bag accessory. 25 pack RRP$7.99 Available at Priceline and My Chemist Warehouse"
To back the description up, they defiantly do remove waterproof makeup.

The bonus sample this month was Laura Mercier foundation primer. I use the hydrating formula normally, so it will be nice to give this one a go.
"50ml RRP $5.00 Available at David Jones"

But wait... there is more. I enter a competition on the Bellabox facebook page and won a Universal Beauty Tint Stick. How exciting. I never win anything. It doesn't say what colour it is but it's the red one. These are nice. The stain the lips really nicely but you do have to be careful of it bleeding.

It you want to sign up for this go to www.bellabox.com.au

Innoxa Full Colour Lip Cream

I was looking through the chemist near my work and noticed this Innoxa Full Colour Lip Creams. I had never heard of them before but they look great. The packaging is really nice. It looks frosted and very simple.

I love the pigmentation and it is very smooth on my lips. It is a gloss finish and the staying power is great. It only needs one coat but too is amazing. It taste really nice too but doesn't smell the best.

They were about $15 and I will get some more. There was about 5 other colours. If you would like me to do swatches for them let me know.

Beautybay Haul

As a late birthday present to myself, I put alittle order at Beautybay.com :)

Everything is great prices but it did take awhile to receive it :( only about 8 working days but I was very impatient. The main reason for the order was a new foundation. I decided to try the Illamasqua Rich Liquid Foundation. I've only heard of this once before and it was a good review, so why not. I love trying new foundations. I gave it a quick go this morning and so far so good. I got shade RF120. Its a long lasting, full coverage foundation.

I have been out of my mac brow pencil for a little bit now and I was so sad. I'm very excited to try the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. I got the shade Taupe.

I got the Beauty Bay detangling Brush. Its a nice brush. Nothing special but nice.

Also some Matrix Total results shampoo and conditioner. I've never tried this before but it sounds good. Its the moisture one.

Very happy with my little purchases.

Baby lead weaning

My little boy is 15 months old and is completely capable of eating everything. He has been able to eat anything for awhile now. This is my story of how we got him onto solids.

We done Baby Lead Weaning. We didn't plan to do Baby Lead Weaning at first. I did read about it and loved the idea but I was just going to go with the traditional purees etc because thats all I really new with my little sisters and nieces and nephews.

When he was about 5 month old he was showing a lot of interest in food so we started introducing solids into I did mash up some sweet potato and avocado 3 or so times. But I just started to give him slices of avocado and banana and he loved it. He loved getting messy. As the month when on I started to give him other things such as pear, peach, broccoli and carrots. I think the best tip for Baby Lead Weaning is to no expect them to be eating the food straight away. At that age they don't need food, it's more about the new textures and taste. The main benefit is that its teaching babies to chew their food before they learn to swallow it. With purees, it's teaching them to swallow food, then later on down the line they have to learn to chew.

Just by slowing introducing new foods, Axl was eating steak by 7 months old. Baby Lead Weaning was great. We were able to eat all at the same time. Axl really enjoys food.
BANANA at about 5 months
Broccoli about 5 or 6 months
Peach about 7 months

Spaghetti about 7 months
Tacos at about 7 months
