Birthday haul

It's about a month late but better late then never I guess. Last month was my birthday and I got massively spoilt! I may have chosen everything but that's ok :)

I got a little Sephora package. I've never tried any of those before so I was very excited!! I got the Kat von de tattoo liner. Love it!! It makes it so easy to use. I got the Becca Champain Pop highlight. I'm soo in love. The first day I used it, I didn't have very good lighting and walked outside and obviously put a lot on because I was shinning haha. I got the cover fx concealer. I am slowly converting all my make up to cover fx. It is such a great brand. Then there is the nude stix eyebrow pencil. I got the shade dirty blond and it matches me perfectly. Normally when you get a roll up brow pencil, you use it up very quickly but this one is very hard so I think it will last a long time. My new fav. Lastly, the beauty blender.... How have I no been using this all along....? That's all I need to say 😍

I also got a Samantha Wills ring!!! I'm so in love with it.


Last not not least..... 2 Kylie Lip Kits. I got it in 22 and Dolce K. I love these. They formula would have to be one of my favourite liquid lip.

I was very excited to see this because I love tea! I have had one cup of this. My first impression was, it was a very different taste. I didn't get around to uploading last months bella box but here is this one. I really like this one because I do a full sized lipstick :) That makes me happy!!


The first thing I got was the COCOSWISH OIL PULLING. Straight away I thought it was for my hair and was happy about it but when I looked closer is a mouth rinse thing. Coloured Raine Matte Lip Paints - Bachelorette

Why do I keep doing this?! I do not need any more lip sticks. Oh well I could be spending my money on worse things. I seen this colour and it was like something came over me and I had to buy it!! Its a Coloured Raine Matte Lip Paint in the colour Bachelorette.

I have never tried this brand before so I was excited for that too. Shipping was really quick all the way to Australia. The colour has amazing payoff. You could get away with one quick coat but I did touch it up after the first coat. It had great lasting power and was overly drying for a liquid matte lipstick. The packaging isn't that cute but it is a medium range price so that makes up for it. I would defiantly recommend this to anymore. Thumbs up from me :)

Easter Long weekend

I'm Well I'm back at work after the Easter long weekend. I had a great weekend. Mine started on Thursday. My husband, Axl and I went to Newcastle. We are in the process of doing something that will change our life. I may make another post just about that, so keep your eye out! While my husband was off doing his stuff, Axl and I went to the shopping centre. We just cruised around and went to the movies. It was Axls very first cinema experience. I was so excited for him. He wasn't that excited haha he loved it though. We ate so much popcorn, he stole half of mine. After about an hour of the movie he started to get abit bored so we left. He done alot better then I thought he would.

Friday my husband brother came home for the weekend. We spent the day with them and Axl got to play with his cousins. The boys watch the football in the afternoon. It was a very relaxing day.


Saturday Paul (husband) had to work. While he was working I done some housework (ewww) and then went and visited my mum. I hardly seen Axl while I was there. He was too busy doing farm work with his Pa. He loves being a little cowboy! That night we went to Pauls cousins house for a BBQ. It was really lovely. They only live around the corner from us. I don't know why we don't see them and let the kids play more often.


Sunday... EASTER!! Axl slept in because of his late night at the BBQ. The Easter Bunny put his eggs out the front of his door for him to see on his way out of his room. I woke up at Axls normal time and I was starting to get impatient because he slept in. He finally woke up half an hour later and walked start OVER his eggs and didn't even realise haha. He was just worried about getting his breakfast and water. He had some chocolate. Then opened up Paul's and took a big bite of his haha. I went to the gym then we went and had breakfast at Paul's pjarents house. There is a big jungle gym play area in my town and we took the kids to that. There was an Easter egg hunt. The kids loved it. Axl found his first one and just sat in the corner and ate it, instead of trying to find more. After that we went out to my mums and spend time with my family. After a big day we went home and had an early night.

Monday was very chill. Monday afternoon we burnt some cutting in a drum in the back yard and Axl just ran around the yard parlaying with the dogs. It was a great way to wand the weekend.

I've been looking at this for awhile now and I have really wanted to try it but thought it might be some kind of a gimmick. When I was buying my preworkout I seen it on the side of the counter and it was only $5 for a 5 pack. Why not give it a go?! 

Soo silly me really thought it was green tea. Like the hot tea but it is a powder that you put in water and it works like an energy drink. I was abit nervous to try it. I used the green tea flavor and it looks so gross, but it really doesn't taste that bad. Yay! To be honest, I am a bit jittery right now haha but I like that feeling. I don't drink energy drinks ever but do have preworkout before a workout. I'm not sure how it will go for weight loss but it is giving me an energy boost right now. I'm liking it! Ill see how I go after finishing the rest of the samples. I may buy some more.

I didn't even know this months box had been send yet. It surprised me!! I am much happier with this box compared to last months.

Bella box must deal with Benefit a lot. I received another sample of the Porefessional Pro Balm. I will use this sample but I personally am not a fan of the Porefessional Pro Balm. One thing I will say, is I didn't know about the mattifying effect when applying after makeup.... interesting.

Living in Australia makeup problems

Now, don't get me wrong.... Australia is amazing, beautiful and fortunate! But why is makeup so much more expensive here?? Last night I seen Temptalias post about Colourpop statin lipstick in Marshmallow. As soon as I seen this post I was like  "I must have that.. Its only $6USD!!" First I looked for an Australia site... Nope none. Ok I'll see how much shipping was. I put 3 lipsticks in my cart and including postage the order came to $35.00 USD. That was about $45 AUD. WHYYY!?

Simple Work Makeup

Today is just a normal day of work. Very simple makeup today. I thought I would post what I use for a very simple look. 

Here is a typical bad lighting, just finished at the gym, before and after photo!

For my base I used MAC Prep and Prime skin base visage and Nars Sheer glow. 

I set that with MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural.

For my cheeks I used Estée Lauder - exotic shimmer

My contour and highlight is from the Kat Von D shade and light palette. I used the first two colours.

For a base on my eyes I use painterly paint pot. My lid colour is Ricepaper by MAC

In my crease is a colour from the original naked palette by Urban Decay, the shade is Buck. I deepened up the crease and corner with a Kiko eye colour duo - 207.

My eye liner is Revlon colourstay liquid eye pen in black and the mascara is Max Factor Masterpiece MAX in black.

My brows are filled in with Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz in taupe

I then finish off with my lips using my new MAC retro colour in Lady-be-good.
