Lipstick Challenge - Day 8 and 9

DAY 8!


I was busy yesterday and very tired once I got home, so I am joining the two days together. I didn't do much yesterday just used Revlon Just bitten in lovesick and it stained my lips all day. I didn't have to reapply

DAY 9!

I don't normally work Fridays but one of the girls in on holidays so I have to do a few Fridays. I very simple look again today.

I lined and filled in my lips with Australis Stayput Lip Liner in Natural.

The lipstick is Calvin Klein Cre'me Lipstick in Rose Berry.

Lipstick Challenge - Day 7

Today I went for orange lips :) the photos don't show how nice and bright it is though. I also took a photo of my eye makeup today. Does anyone else find it really hard to take pictures on their eye makeup? It always just makes me look weird. If you have any tips let me know.

I used Mac Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in the colour What a Blast! I lined and filled my lips on. Then I used Lóréal Colour Riche in the colour 410 Volcanic.

 

Lipstick Challenge - Day 6

 

This is what real lipstick looks like. Not all those perfect condition lipsticks you see on Instagram. Same goes with my lip pencil, which has a broken lid.

I don't often wear this shade of brown that the lip liner made my lipstick look, but I like it. It lasted really well today when I didn't really expect since it they were on the cheaper side.

I lined and filled in my lips as always with Rimmel London 1000 Kisses stay on lip pencil in the colour 055 Femme Fatale.

I uses a Max Factor lipstick but unfortunately the name and colour as worn off :(




I need to set aside some time to do some different post. If anyone has any request. Please let me know :)

Lipstick challenge - Day 5

Day 5, well on Saturday I also wore lipstick but I didn't document that one. Today was just a normal day at work. I had to reapply a few times with this lipstick. But it was nice and creamy. I used very cheap lip products today but I was still happy with the result and would defiantly wear it again.

I lined and filled in my lips with Australis Lip Pencil in the colour Kiss me Quick.

I then used a more heavier then normal layer of the lipstick. I'm not familar with this brand. I was only about $2. I think it's "17 by Jonathan Saunders"

Bellabox May 2015

I got my Bellabox. It seemed like it came so early this month but it didn't. It's just that the last one came so late. I am so happy with it this month. My friend just cancelled her subscription this month and she saw mine and was so angry. I seems like excellent value this month.
First thing I got was a Chella Ivory Lace highlighter Pencil. I don't have any highlighter pencil so this is great. It's a nice natural colour and is very creamy.

 Next is a Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula in the Moisture rich night cream. I used the Palmers's Cocoa Butter Formula when I was pregnant on my belly. I loved it. I haven't used this one before, so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

I think this is the thing I was most excited about. I have seen these Eye of Horus Goddess pencils around for a while now and I have always wanted to try them. But because they are $30 and I haven't seen anything online about them, I just haven't gotten around to it. It is very black with a nice smudge on the other end. I swatch it on my hand and haven't been able to get it off or smudge it once it set.

The was a sample size of the Real-U Control + Face Gel. I have no real comments on this as of yet. I haven't heard of this brand before. I shall give it a go.

Next was a small Impulse romantic spark sample. This is a body spray that I used to use as a teenager. I loved them then. They smelt so sweet. I think I will put this in my bad for emergencies. You never know when u need a bit of body spray. It does smell very sweet.

The was a bonus foil packet in this book. It was the Sunescape Hydrating Gradual Tan Extender. To be honest, I dont tan so I'm not super excited about this. But I defaintly think I will use it in the spring and my legs gradually come out from hyphenation.

Lipstick Challenge - day 4

Hello....
Today was another lazy day. Just had to get a few groceries and stuff. So it was a very simple look once again. I didn't do my eyes again though :(

 
 

I dug to the back of the draw today and pulled out a lipstick I haven't used in awhile. I used a Rimmel London lipstick in the colour 077 Asia. I kind of feel sad that I might not use this colour in awhile because I'm going through my collection. I might have to repeat a few times. :)

Lipstick challenge - Day 3

Today Axl had a really high temperature. 38.5oC. My poor little man, I think its just from his molar teeth coming through. But he can't go to daycare with a temp that high. So I didn't go to work either. It was a snuggle day at home for us. But I still put lipstick on since I am going to my mums for dinner tonight. But because he was very sooky I didn't get a chance to do my eye makeup or anything. I haven't discussed this with the person that challenged me but I thinking the days I'm not working that I wear lipstick count towards the challenge :) The only rule was I have to wear a different one everyday at work.

So very simple today. All I used was Revlon Just Bitten Kissable in the colour 010 Darling Cherie. I really like this. So soft on the lips and stains the lips. Sounds perfect to me.

 

Lipstick Challenge - Day 2

I did it! Two days!! haha

Getting ready with a baby can be an effort. I managed to get everything done but my lipstick this morning before my son woke up. So last minute lipstick application while holding a child it was. Lucky he is a cutie :) 

Today I used the Coral Colours Lip Definer in the colour 222 Strawberry Sundae that I got in my Bellabox last month. I liked it alot more than I thought I would. I lined and filled in my lips with this. I didn't last all day though.

The I used Mac Amplified in Blankety. This is such a nice soft feeling lipstick. It last a good amount of time. This is a great go to nude lip.

Lipstick challenge - day 1

Yesterday at work, I was talking about my slight addiction to lipstick. So, I was challenged to wear a different lipstick everyday to work. I work Monday to Thursday, so that means a minimum 4 days a week I have to do a full face of makeup. Lipstick is never the same by itself ;) Let's see how I go!

I think tomorrow I will need to take some photos with better lighting. I lined and filled in my lips with Estée Lauder Double Wear - Stay-in-place lip pencil in colour 01 PINK. The lipstick I used was Estée Lauder signature lipstick in colour 52 BRILLIANT PINK.

Bellabox April 2015

I have only just received my Bellabox for April 2015. They send a lot of them out late this month. But better late then never.

Bellabox is an Australian beauty box. It is $15 a month + $2.95 for shipping. Some months are better then the other. This month I am happy with the samples and this it is very worth its money.

I love the packaging. It come in a very sturdy cardboard box, which is blue and white pock-a-dots.
When you open the box it is wrapped int tissue paper.




First thing I notices was the Facial wipes. I was excited for this because it meant I didn't have to buy wipes. I had never seen this brand before. It is very nice packaging. I was a none sample size which is awesome. I like the scent of these. Just like the description it leaves your clean and refreshed. I was happy with wasn't oily.

I received lip moisturiser. Its was in very simple packaging, which I like the look of. It smells great. The texture was a lot thicker then I imagined but that's not a bad thing.

There was a lip pencil. I LOVE lip products but I was too excited about this one. Its an OK colour but I'm not a fan of the brand. When I put it on my hand the didn't look like it had much staying power but I will give it a go and see what its like. The shade I got is 222 Strawberry Sundae. It was nice that it was full size.

 I got an eye mask. In the box description is says I could have got one of two eye mask but because the mask doesn't have an English description on it, I'm not sure which one I got. I was excited for this but it was so wet. I was dripping down my face. I didn't leave it on for long because it felt gross but it did leave my under eyes feeling great.

There was a bonus item in this box. It was a foil packet of anti-itch lotion. To tell the truth, I probably wont use it but I will keep it in mind for my son.
